Respected Madam,
Here I
am apply the term post colonialism or racism in Hindi Movies like Queen and
English vinglish, both movies directed by
Indian directors. When we study deeply at that time we find that how in
both movie black identity put in corner. Most of the Bollywood movies shoot in
Foreign countries not any African country. Racism also we find very well.
In “ A
True story” by Mark Twain in this short story also we find racism and problems
of this “Sandwich identity”, how they sold because they black and they suffer a
lot . Because we are now free from colonialism but our mind are still colonized
and right now our own people ruled on their people.
We have
to become like white persons, because it is our inner desire. Many beauty
products like fair & lovely and other advertisements present this idea very
well.
It is
not now but in our Bhajan also we find for example – “ Gori Radha ne Kado Kan”.
We also choos name like Herry, James etc, so it is reflect our mindset. Why
this name?
